Best Oscar Looks of 2018

I love a Black Tie event. Getting glammed in the perfect gown, hair and makeup is a thrill, and then it's just so fun being surrounded in a place where everything & everyone is also glammed. If I can't be at one, watching one is also fun, and my favorite Black Tie event to watch is the Oscars.

The 2018 Oscars was on Sunday and I loved watching it. One of my favorite things about watching is seeing all the stars in their gorgeous looks.

This year's Oscar attendees were dressed in a sea of sparkles and fun spring colors. These were my top favorite looks:

GAL GADOT

Her amazing 1920s-style sparkling number was my absolute favorite. And that Tiffany's necklace? A dream!

SALLY HAWKINS
I loved the throwback shoulder pad look of her dress :)

MARGOT ROBBIE

I loved her simple dress with the standout detail around the bust and arms.

SELMA HYACK

Speaking of that gorgeous bust and arm detail, she not only brought that look... she brought it with sparkles and a beautiful spring color.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE

Her simple yet gorgeous gown was another great sparkling look.

VIOLA DAVIS

Her look combined two of my favorite things: pink & sparkle! And I loved the shade of pink she was wearing too, it was such a nice bright pop of color.

GRETA GERWIG

Her look was also a nice pop of color, and different too. You don't see yellow very often, but I'm glad she was wearing it because I loved it, and yellow is becoming one of my favorite colors of the season!

EMILY BLUNT

She brought the color too, but in a totally different way with a soft pastel blue and in a beautiful Victorian style.

Lastly, I know a lot of people have been saying that her dress was a more current version of Gwyneth Paltrow's Oscar-win dress, and yes, I get that it's the same color, but all I saw was a softer pastel version of Marilyn Monroe's 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Bestfriend' dress... and I loved it!
