So our new windows have finally been installed! The company that installed them still has to come back and finish the spackling which they offered to do today, but we wanted to decorate for Christmas so we'll be making an appointment for them to come back after the new year.
Just to give you an idea of what all the windows in our whole house look like, here are the new windows in our living room
Now remember they're not completely finished, but they'll look fabulous when they are. |
So now, like I said, with the new windows in, my husband and I were able to put up our Christmas decorations. I love Christmas and I'm so happy the decorations are up. We bought and decorated our tree, and put up all of our other decorations last night while watching Christmas movies all night. It really put me in the holiday spirit, and next I'll be wrapping my Christmas gifts!
Here are the decorations
Our beautiful 2013 tree! We sprayed some fake snow on it, but unfortunately it all melted away :( |
Our tree still came out fabulous, though, even without the fake snow :) |
Close-up of our ornaments. |
Centerpiece that I put on my coffee table. |
Top view of my centerpiece. |
Our first Christmas ornament that we got as a married couple that we had custom made on our honeymoon in Disneyworld. |
Our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree :) |
Our Stockings. And yes, the little stockings are our cats'. |
This is the DVD I bought to turn our TV into a fireplace. I actually
bought it at Target for $1 about 4 years ago. I think it's awesome.
Here's the description: "Enjoy the coziness of a warm fireplace fire on
your TV, complete with the actual snaps, crackles and pops of natural
burning wood. Watch your fire progress from a roaring beginning to a
flickering end, or view endless looping of roaring, moderate, and
flickering flames. Enhance your viewing pleasure with thirty-five
minutes of beloved holiday music, beautifully performed by the St. James
Harp Quartet." It really is very nice and festive. |
Our lit wreath and garland on and around our front door. |
And our Christmas lights in our windows along with our Snoopy holding up a "Happy Holidays" sign :) |
I love this time of year and I love how our decorations came out. How do you decorate for the holidays?
